The More Lenders You Start Your PPP Application Process With, The Better!
Quartermaster Tax Management

Post

As mentioned during the consulting and coaching webinars, Quartermaster Tax Management has put you in line with Newtek, which is one of the top SBA lenders in the country. This is getting you in line for a formal application.

Please note, Newtek is for the 7a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan which is only available through a bank or lending institution. Quartermaster Tax Management has no control over how fast they process your 7a PPP application, as most lending institutions are overwhelmed.

If you have engaged Quartermaster Tax Management for your 7B Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL), that is a separate process as it is only available through the SBA.

Our advice: The more lenders you start your application process with, the better as this will give you additional opportunities to get in the queue with potential lenders for your 7a PPP loan. Your local community banks and credit unions are likely to be less overwhelmed than larger institutions. Getting in a queue does not obligate you to use that bank or lending institution. Until the loan officer contacts you and requests documentation, which Quartermaster Tax Management can provide, you are not obligated to use that lender. The application process starts once you get a response from a lender. As a reminder, if a lender requests a loan calculator or application, Quartermaster Tax Management’s CPAs are here to help with that if you wish.

Maximizing PPP Forgiveness

Now that the second round of SBA funding is about to arrive this week, ($310 Billion for the PPP program, $10 Billion for the EIDL Grants, and $50 Billion for the 7B EIDL loans) many DC’s should be getting their needed funding.

Don Rasmussen of Quartermaster Tax recorded a live webinar addressing the maximization of the PPP loan forgiveness which is the key element to the PPP program.
