Key Doctor Webinar
Presented by: Dr. Gerard Clum
The opioid crisis rages on across California and the
nation. We have a role to play in helping keep people from ever
getting started on opioids as well as helping those already using
these killers find the relief they seek without addictive
medications.
If we don’t make the case for how the chiropractic community can
help be a part of the solution to this national epidemic we are
complicit in the suffering and the crisis itself.
The California Chiropractic Association (CalChiro) is reaching
out to its members who are willing to step up and serve as “Key
Doctors” and serve as the liaison between the profession and the
legislature. One person in every legislative district is needed
to be the face and voice of the profession to your assembly
member and senator in their homes office.
To help prepare our Key Doctors, CalChiro has designed a series
of informational and educational sessions to provide you with the
following:
- The how-to’s of every aspect in dealing with your legislators in their districts from making an appointment, to how to dress, to what to say, to how to say it
- A detailed list of topics, talking points and script for your legislative meetings
- The evidence and back-up for you to have the answers for any questions the talking points might raise
- Training sessions, feedback and guidance using a simulated legislative meeting to help you feel comfortable, at ease and in control of the conversation when you meet with your legislator.
You can make the difference with your legislators and doing so
you can make the difference for the profession in California.
Join us on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 12:00 pm -
1:00 pm for our first webinar designed to give you
the tools to be effective, confident and articulate as you
approach your legislators about how you and your profession can
come to the aid of the citizens of California in this
unprecedented public health crisis.
