Message From the President
Just like you, we are closely monitoring new developments
regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus). The health and safety of our
members and patients is of the utmost importance. I would like to
take a moment to address this urgent topic.
As Doctors of Chiropractic, we have a chance to lead by example
in this global crisis. It is important that we take the current
situation seriously, but that we also don’t feed into the fear of
the situation. CalChiro will be taking precautionary steps to
protect our members and the patient’s we serve.
CalChiro headquarters will be shifting or postponing some of our
in-person meetings, due to travel concerns and uncertainty. We
will be transitioning the in-person meetings to web-based
meetings for a short period. We are asking the districts to make
their own decisions for local meetings based on the local risk
factors, focusing on the safety of the members and the
community.
Our goal at CalChiro is always to protect both our Doctors of
Chiropractic and the Patients that we serve. Please be diligent
in protecting those people in our communities who are at higher
risk. Each one of us has a responsibility to understand the risks
and help protect our families, our staff, and our patients on how
to limit exposure to this disease. We have a whole section
dedicated to Covid-19 with resources posted below that
we will also make available on our website. I would personally
like to thank each one of you for caring for the people in your
communities. Thank you for your heart for our patients and for
your heart for our profession.
In Health,
Andrew O. Williams DC
CalChiro President
