With the California legislative session complete, focus has now shifted to the November General Election. As in past election years, the California Chiropractic Association has put together an election guide containing information, and in many cases endorsement recommendations, for State Assembly and State Senate races as well as ballot initiatives.
The Key Doctor Program is a central component of the Governmental Affairs Department. This grassroots program is designed to educate the legislature about the profession and scope of doctors of chiropractic; establish and maintain positive relationships with legislators; and provide information to the Governmental Affairs Department and CalChiro District presidents regarding legislative concerns.
California Chiropractic Association’s consistent presence with legislators and through the PAC and Legislative Conference protect the chiropractic scope of practice. We need YOU to help us have the maximum impact in our legislative efforts! Supporting the CalChiro is one of many ways to get involved!
The California Chiropractic Association (CalChiro) filed suit in San Francisco Superior Court, alleging among other complaints, One Call Medical, Inc. d/b/a One Call Care Management (OCM) and its subsidiary, Align Networks (Align) have violated California’s unfair competition law (UCL) as broadly defined in Business and Professions Code Section 17200 (Case No. CGC-18-569362).
