INSURANCE DEPARTMENT--2007-08
The CCA Insurance Department proactively represents the California
chiropractic profession in the most complicated insurance market
in the nation, staying current on all insurance reimbursement-related
activities, advocating the profession's position on legislation
and regulations, as well as responding to members' questions. Additionally,
the department promotes the chiropractic profession to the insurance
industry and works with decision-makers to resolve members' problems.
The CCA Member Resource Line provides direct access to answers and
solutions for CCA members and their staff. The department consists
of four committees dedicated to specific insurance-related areas
affecting doctors of chiropractic and their patients: Managed Care
& Insurance, Medi-Cal, Medicare and Personal Injury.
