INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS DEPARTMENT--2007-08

The CCA Workers' Compensation Committee deal solely with the issues related to treating injured workers under the California workers' compensation system. They review and issue the profession' s comments on proposed regulations and legislation, attend regulatory and legislative meetings and hearings before the California Legislature, California Commission on Health and Safety and Workers' Compensation, state Division of Workers' Compensation, and others. In addition, the department advocates for the chiropractic profession before decision-makers within the workers' compensation industry and responds to members' questions. From fighting treatment caps to participating in state Official Medical Fee Schedule revisions and more, members' dues dollars are in action.
