Required Employment Law Posters
In operating their practices, doctors of chiropractic wear several hats. In addition to the primary role facilitating the healing of patients, chiropractic doctors are also business people and employers. As those who have employees are aware, voluminous laws and regulations govern the employment relationship. Among those rules is the requirement to post at the practice up to 17 employment-related notices mandated by a plethora of state and federal agencies. Failure to place these notices can lead to fines of up to $10,000.
To assist doctors who are chiropractic employers to meet their employment posting obligations, CCA makes available all 17 employment law posters required to be posted at each practice. All of the posters are offered to CCA members at a significant discount from the retail price and meet applicable state and federal law. The majority of the notices are contained in the Space Saver 1 Poster, a space-saving 26” x 40” full color poster that can be placed horizontally or vertically. All posters are laminated for protection against destruction and environmental conditions and use fade-resistant ink for long wear. They are also available in Spanish. From time-to-time laws are enacted changing the language in the posters. When the language changes, chiropractic doctors will be able to order a laminated replacement poster that can be adhered over the existing notice for a cost savings – doctors do not have to purchase all the posters again.
